Love Between Girls Abounds

Firstly, the town was all abuz this week when Mayor Mack must have found someone to help him set up a Twitter account (MayorMacky). One of his first late night tweets was reportedly, "Ladies, I'm freshly bathed" but the tweet was promptly deleted. If the rumours are true, this might be the first time Mayor Mack has bathed.
Nut Mountain Facebook activity was unusually light this week with little to report. Fifteen year old girls Angela Dulle and Jami Burket declared love for each other on their Facebook walls but were admonished by their parents and it set off an Internet meme with Photoshop photos showing the two in ridiculous and offensive encounters.
It all started with a wall-posting by Miss Dulle stating: “I love you :) just thought I'd let you know since I can't text back. “
“I love her as a friend you freaks,” declared Miss Burket, responding to taunting and virtual cat calls by parents of friends.
Local shrink Marc Molinaro says teen girls, driven by vanity and unfettered hormones, can develop emotional relationships with a girl friend that may or may not be romantic in nature for both parties.
“Young girls are so soft to touch, and firm in so many ways, it's not unusual for them to desire each other physically even if they're straight,” said Dr. Marc Molinaro. “You don't see boys telling their guy friends they love them but that's because they're not secretly wanting to have a sleepover where a pillow fight breaks out and everyone starts kissing, caressing, and smelling.”
In other happenings, grade 7 French teacher Mrs. Ellis changed her status from married to “It's complicated.” The News called Mrs. Ellis for comment but her husband told us she had gone on a one week Caribbean cruise with a brother she just discovered she had via the Internet.
Teenager Annabelle Salido became friends with Serena Prestridge and wrote on her wall, “tbh... dont know you super well but you seeem super nice and funny! your really pretty too.” (sic, sic and more sic)
If anyone knows what “tbh” means, please email me (Jill Mckendree) at The News. Do teen girls all want to do each other?
