Dog Collapses Waiting for Walk Light

An elderly dog and his family are livid over local politicians after standing on a street corner all night waiting for a walk signal to allow her to cross 3rd Street. Paramedics responded to a call shortly after 5 AM Friday morning when Ralphy the dog passed out from exhaustion presumably waiting for the walk light to turn green.
Town counsellor Brad Guntrum said, “Unfortunatly it's the Town's policy to turn off walk lights after 9 PM to discourage pedestrians.:” Guntrum pointed out that most criminals are pedestrians although he couldn't cite any statistics on the matter added that the dog was not on a leash.
